The Story of Algeria
In this episode of Lumumba’s Africa, we explore the pivotal role of Algeria in shaping Africa’s liberation struggles and its complex legacy in the post-independence era. Known as the “Mecca of Revolution,” Algeria became a sanctuary for anti-colonial fighters, revolutionaries, and exiled leaders from across Africa and the Global South during the 1960s and 70s.
