Has Trump’s phone diplomacy achieved a breakthrough ending the conflict in Ukraine? It is too early to say. However, the terms and conditions of engagement have been established. A final peace agreement must be formulated before any ceasefire can happen. That is, the root causes of the conflict must be addressed.
