EU-Russia deadlock
After the Putin-Biden summit, European leaders such as Germany’s Merkel and France’s Macron called for renewed dialogue with Russia. The Baltic States and Poland said, “Not so fast.” Thus, there’s no consensus within the EU as to how to move forward, and the ball remains firmly in Brussels’ court.
