CrossTalk: Another 20 years?
During the Trump Administration, the US agreed to leave Afghanistan by May 1 this year. The Biden Administration is wavering over this commitment. It claims the conditions on the ground are not favorable for withdrawal. This begs the question: what can be done now that has not been tried for the past 20 years?
